i had actually sworn to myself to not write into this journal for as long as i still live in this flat (the bad flat with the bad flatmate and the bad cat) - i don't actually know why, it's one of these awkward things one tells oneself to do, or not to do, without really having a reason for it. in fact, i had wanted to post impressions of my new superb flat and tell you how great it is to live all alone in a tiny box, and no more ranting about this desastrous wannabe-home.

well that'll be the next time around, because i'm still sitting in the same room i have been sitting the last months. 15 days more, and i'm starting to move, to move out. it makes me happy just to think about it.

so you probably remember (or, what would be a lot more probable, you do not remember, because you do not care at all, for which i can't blame you..) that my darling flatmate (the one with the evil cat) kicked me out (see: [link] ). or rather: gave me an ultimatum to move out. one doesn't know why she decided to do that, but one doesn't care, because one did actually want to move away anyway..

now honey-sugar-flatmatey knocked on my door yesterday and announced her departing in august. righty - she's the one throwing me out and about two months later, she decides she wants to leave as well. oh now that is great! oh, how kind of her to think about that NOW! how nice to be that spontaneous. so.. she stood there and mumbled "you know, you can keep the flat then..." - oh well thank you, because i haven't signed the contracts for my new flat yet, haven't i? .. anyway, it's none of my business anymore.

now much more interesting is her reason for leaving this town. she told me she hated this town (that's allright. she can hate it, for all i care.), to many turks. turks everywhere. (now that is not allright.) so then i had to listen to her quite rightwinged stories about foreigners. we live in cologne, it's a big city. it's a big, multicultural city, which makes it such a nice place to live in. but apparently, miss i-eat-pigs-heads-because-in-the-village- i-lived-in-that's-what-we-did cannot cope with that. and there she was ranting about the foreigners ("croatian, hungarian.. oh, and even english people!") at her university and in that moment i realized we had nothing, nothing in common and i fell madly in love with the perspective of living in a box, far far away from this idiotic, fashistoid shit.

so, this is life these days. apart from that, i go to school 4 days a week (it should be five, though) and i avoid being at home, so nothing ever changes, but the sun is shining and maybe, maybe there's reason enough to hope for changes bringing on better things, better days...

i'm uploading a few new pics now, so i'll leave this journal entry for now, anyway, it's been far too much again.
