..please don't let me hit the ground.

so here i am. sitting at my parents and way to go. should drop by at my old home, today, do some washing up, iron some clothes and wear them to the party tonight..

so it seems now i have found not only one flat, but two. one of them is perfectly situated in the middle of my beloved city (that is molktestr. / aachener str. to you cologne-people) near the nicest club in town (blue note) so i can walk back drunk at night, and beside a big green park where i might spend half of the summer as i did the years before.
anyway, it's probably the coolest place to live if you don't have a car or money for a big flat.

but... it's dead ugly. the kitchen is a cupboard in the hallway. it's a big awful cupboard. you can open it, and hey, there's a fridge, there's the sink, there's everything you need, and when you close it, it's just a huge piece of furniture that is placed in the way. plus, there's a broken washing machine of which i don't really know why i have to keep it, but it'll probably go down into the cellar as soon as i get enough money to buy a new one. (hahaha. so never. i am going to spend my life with a disfunctional washing machine. too good to be true.) oh, and the floor is a disaster, but my boyfriend said he'd lend me the money for a new one.. the floor is blue. but not only is it one-colour-blue, but it's a fuzzy dark blue with even darker blotches on it. the horror.
plus, i'm going to take over the previous inhabitant's bed, which i think is quite fucked up, but my bed is more of a couch than anything to sleep in. yeah, i'll have her matrass. no, i don't find it very appealling, to be honest. oh well. i'll have to save some money, won't i just?

the other flat i haven't seen yet, appears to be smaller, less ugly and beside my school. but then again, who knows how long i'll stay in school? better not think about it as an advantage... hm, but it has a bath. i just won't be able to put a bed larger than 1,20 in it. yikes.

so, which one will i take? i know they both sound like crap, but what can i expect?

would anyone want to make me the great gift of a washing machine? and new floors? oh please, please! and a new bed, maybe also? and who can help me carry my stuff around town? does anyone drive a van? a lorry?
